　　Mustang Spirit Week is at the heart of each semester, it is how we share our MacDuffie Circle Values, through teamwork and communal activities that strengthen our whole school environment. In our Spirit Week games, activities and competitions we celebrate our school community, develop and foster our friendships and promote the spirit of volunteering.

　　We also seek out the heroes in our local community such as firefighters, soldiers and volunteers to help show that values heroes are all around in our daily lives and this inspires us to follow their great examples. Mustang Spirit shows us how taking part in one’s community by developing a positive attitude to supporting your school, your teams and each other is essential preparation for us to become the great international citizens that our bright future world deserves. Live our community values in everything you do, bring your A-Game to school each day .

　　Our first ever Mustang Spirit Week was one of the most fun weeks I have had as a teacher. Every day our International Department participated in different games, competitions and events that showed our Circle Values at their best. From a basketball competition to a “wrap the teacher” race and a soak the sponge game, our teachers and students worked together to support one another.

　　我们的第一个战马精神周是我当老师以来最有趣的一周。国际部每天都参加不同的游戏、比赛和活动，以展示我们核心价值观的最佳状态。从篮球比赛到“包裹老师”比赛，再到“海绵吸水”比赛，师生们齐心协力，互相支持。

　　Mustang Spirit Week demonstrates our Circle Values through the use of activities and teamwork, as our Houses came together across Middle and High school to enjoy their time and help each other. I have to congratulate Red House, who won the most points throughout the week, but it was a very close thing and every student who participated showed our Mustang Spirit at its best! The greatest part of the week came on Friday, when after our final games, many students came to ask me when we will have the next Mustang Spirit Week! I’m excited to say it will happen in semester 2, and we are already planning to make it bigger and better!

　　We had a lot of fun activities going on throughout the week, we had one activity per day. All students were put into their houses with different colors, we could earn points if we won a race. Red team won the first place! In the week we had a great time! Thank you for all the teachers who helped for our Spirit Week!
