Mountain Day is a traditional activity that dates to the founding of The MacDuffie School in Granby, it is held each October in all the Macduffie Schools. On Mountain Day the school climbs a mountain together. Students, teachers and parents scale the mountain as a group, supporting and helping each other to achieve their goal collaboratively. Through various House activities Mountain Day celebrates our commitment to instilling teamwork, school spirit and companionship and promotes a healthy and active outlook in our students.Overall it shows our respect for the natural environment, takes learning outside the classroom and brings our whole school together to celebrate our place in the wider local community.
